Job summary

Manulife Singapore is seeking an Actuarial Senior Manager for the SG VSSC to lead valuation and modeling efforts, ensuring quality and timely deliverables while driving technical leadership across programs.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to govern processes, support audits, and guide transformation and continuous improvement within the center. A minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience and progression toward Fellowship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of actuarial experience within insurance or financial services.
• ASA, AASP, or equivalent with significant progress toward Fellowship.
• Proven leadership experience managing actuarial teams or large-scale initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of actuarial valuation modeling.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial valuation and modeling initiatives to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.
• Develop, validate, and implement model enhancements, assumption updates, basis changes, and new product initiatives.
• Review actuarial models and results for technical soundness and consistency; communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
