SD Solutions I.T. Outsourcing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager in Pasig with strong BIR and tax expertise to lead the accounting function. You will oversee GL, payroll, and cashflow, coordinate audits, ensure PFRS compliance, and drive internal controls and process improvements.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting, CPA is an advantage, and hands-on experience with BIR reporting and audits. The position offers a pathway to develop the finance team and report to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license is an advantage/preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR compliance, and financial reporting.
• Proven experience in BIR reporting, tax reconciliation, and handling BIR audits/tax examinations.
• Strong internal and external auditing skills.
• Knowledge of PFRS and Philippine accounting standards.
• Proficient in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, schedules, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial reports for management.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Establish and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and statutory reports, including VAT, percentage tax, income tax, withholding taxes, and other applicable tax filings.
• Monitor BIR deadlines and ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws and regulations.
• Review and reconcile BIR returns against books of accounts and supporting schedules.
• Oversee preparation and submission of BIR Forms 1601-C, 0619-E/0619-F, 1604-CF, 1604-E, 2550Q, 1702Q, 1702-RT, and other applicable BIR forms.
• Ensure proper issuance and monitoring of BIR Certificates of Withholding Tax (2306/2307) and related documentation.
• Coordinate responses to BIR inquiries, assessments, notices, and tax examinations.
• Maintain complete and organized tax records and supporting documents.
• Work with tax advisors and external professionals on tax compliance and tax-related matters.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of required schedules and supporting documents.
• Review financial records and processes to identify accounting discrepancies, control weaknesses, and compliance risks.
• Develop and implement effective internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and improve financial accuracy.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and assist in resolving audit findings.
• Conduct periodic reviews of accounting processes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Review team performance and ensure proper delegation of accounting responsibilities.
• Establish accounting team objectives, deadlines, and performance standards.
• Promote accuracy, accountability, and continuous process improvement within the accounting department.
