Job summary

Bandai Namco Philippines seeks an Accounting Supervisor in Lipa City, Batangas. This full‑time position bridges operational accounting with senior finance, ensuring accurate records, timely reporting, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a small team, optimize processes, and support business decisions. You should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years in accounting with 2+ in supervision, and strong knowledge of PH GAAP and tax rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and Philippines-specific accounting rules and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP or other accounting software and Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Experience in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with standards and policy.
• Conduct reconciliations and investigate discrepancies for accuracy.
• Lead accounts payable, vendor communications, and payment approvals.
• Manage accounts receivable activities including billing, collections, and credit control.
• Support audits with timely documentation and responses to inquiries.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff on procedures and controls.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate across departments to provide financial insights for business decisions.
