Job summary

HireMe.ph in the Philippines is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee full-cycle accounting, including inventory accounting, cost accounting support, payroll processing, financial statements, and journal entries. The role supervises a team of 3 accounting staff and reports to the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of experience with supervisory exposure; strong communication skills and flexibility to handle additional duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting with full-cycle exposure.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible and able to take on non-core duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute directives from the Finance Manager and Adviser as needed.
• Maintain/update books: cash receipts, cash disbursements, AP, general journal, petty cash.
• Coordinate, review, and check accuracy of Clerks' transactions.
• Reconcile bank transactions with payables, remittances, and bank charges.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly reports and mid-month projections.
• Coordinate with auditors during audits.
• Prepare weekly cash position for check signing.
• Ensure government benefits and tax remittance on time.
• Prepare payroll for staff.
• on-time filing of BIR returns and compliance, and on-time submission to BIR, SEC, and BOI.
