Job summary

B J Mercantile, Inc. in Manila seeks an experienced Finance professional to manage monthly and yearly financial statements and profitability analyses. You will lead variance explanations and ensure accurate reporting across departments.

Role includes supervising staff in e-filing BIR returns, handling VAT and withholding taxes, payroll remittance reviews, and monthly billing/revenue reporting. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance and 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field.
• Detail-oriented and analytical approach to work.
• Experience leading or supervising accounting staff is a plus.

• Preparation and reconciliation of all accounts for Quarterly Income Tax Filing
• Monitors and supervises staff in the preparation and e-filing of BIR returns
• Assist staff on data encoding of sales and purchases in VAT Relief System and Alpha list System
• Checking of payroll especially Government Remittances of employees and prepares Annualized Schedule of payroll for tax adjustment/refund
• Monitors sales and collections and reviews Monthly receivable aging, Monthly sales report and Monthly Collection report
