Job summary

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seeks a Senior Accounting Specialist to maintain and monitor general and subsidiary ledger balances, reconcile accounts, and prepare movements/transactions and reports for assigned accounts.

The role also serves as alternate administrator for the BSP’s accounting system and supports compliance with accounting standards, policies and government regulations for the assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
• Training: 8 hours of relevant training/learning and development intervention.
• Eligibility: Career Service (Professional)/ Second Level Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and monitors simple general/subsidiary ledger account balances.
• Reconciles and analyzes simple account balances; prepares movements/transactions of assigned simple accounts and related financial reports.
• Acts as alternate administrator for the BSP’s accounting system.
• Supports monitoring of compliance with accounting standards/policies and government laws/regulations for assigned accounts.
