Job summary

Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm with a presence in the Philippines, seeks an experienced accounting professional to join its hybrid team. You will review weekly work, assist in monthly reviews, and provide technical accounting support to associates while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, a CPA license (advantageous), and at least 3 years in BPO. Proficiency with QBO, Xero, Bill.com and NetSuite is a plus, with strong client management and

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
CPA license advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years in the BPO industry.
Experience with QBO, Xero, Bill.com and NetSuite is a plus.
Experience managing Professional Services clients preferred.
Excellent communication skills for hybrid team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Reviews weekly work; bills processing and bank transaction coding; monthly work by Associate Accountant.
Ensures weekly/monthly responsibilities of Associate Accountant are completed.
Performs initial/final review of monthly/quarterly management reports.
Provide accounting and technical support; train Accounting Associates.
Handle new/complicated tasks, client onboarding, seasonal tasks, and maintenance of accounting work papers.
Prepare process documents and collaborate on process improvements.
Assist Manager/PM/Client questions and issues.
Support people management: capacity, performance, staff concerns, interviews, onboarding.
