Job summary

Acclime is seeking a meticulous Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, consolidate transactions, and support month-end/year-end closes. The role emphasizes GAAP compliance and audit readiness, with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred), has 2+ years in accounting, and is proficient with Xero, Excel, and Word. Onsite or hybrid work arrangements are acceptable, with strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferably with CPA.
• At least 2 years of experience in the same capacity.
• Experience in Xero or similar accounting systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Amenable to onsite or hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Record, verify, consolidate transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and record entries for assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses.
• Balance subsidiary accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger and prepare financial statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist audits by providing information to auditors.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and legal requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure financial data.
• Perform ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.
