Job summary

Quince is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of post‑qualification experience to own European subsidiary controllership, close mechanics, and cross‑functional partnership across Marketing, Logistics and Operations. You’ll work with NetSuite, Coupa, Numeric, Brex and Looker, and automate workflows with Claude Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and curiosity about how operational data becomes financial truth.
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, Numeric, Brex and Looker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Marketing accrual engineering: build monthly accrual model across digital, performance, brand and agency spend.
• Logistics cost modeling: own first‑mile, middle‑mile and last‑mile carrier costs.
• Inventory accounting: own inventory costing, valuation and reconciliation.
• Lease accounting (ASC 842): build lease schedules, ROU assets and disclosures.
• Revenue recognition (ASC 606): own schedules and accruals.
• Investment accounting (ASC 320/321): own accounting and reporting under US GAAP.
• European subsidiary controllership: act as controller for a European subsidiary.
• Close mechanics: use AI to prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids and reserves.
• Reconciliation architecture: GL‑to‑subledger, bank, vendor, lease, inventory and investment reconciliations.
• Cross‑functional partnership: work with Marketing, Logistics, Operations and FP&A.
• Automation ownership: build AI agents on Claude Enterprise to automate workflows.
