Job summary

D&V Philippines is hiring a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will manage month-end close, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and audit activities while helping improve processes and automate routines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, 5+ years of experience, and a CPA license, with strong English communication skills. Hybrid work schedule with limited onsite days per month is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA license.
• At least 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of ASC 606 and technical accounting topics.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close activities including revenue recognition and accruals.
• Prepare reconciliations and monitor irregularities for day-to-day operations.
• Take part in treasury tasks like contractor payments and intercompany settlements.
• Assist with annual financial audits and audit readiness.
• Review and improve accounting SOPs and drive process automation.

• 12:00am to 9:00am – Tuesdays to Saturdays
• Hybrid setup with 1–2 days onsite per month or quarter.

JOB OVERVIEW

• The Senior Accountant should be detail-oriented, analytical and proactive, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. The role will work across complex financial datasets covering revenue, expenses, and multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and compliance as the company continues to scale. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in strengthening the financial processes, driving operational efficiency, and providing insights that help leadership make informed decisions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Month-end close activities including areas of revenue recognition, expense accruals and deferrals, debt, and intercompany transactions
• Prepare account reconciliations, flux analysis and monitor irregularities for day-to-day accounting operations using AI-enabled close management tools
• Perform select treasury functions such as batch contractor payments, tax payments, and cross-border intercompany settlements
• Handle a significant portion of annual financial audit
• Review and improve various standard operating procedures for accounting operations
• Drive ongoing process automation and system implementations for accounting operations .
