Job summary

VargasAndrews LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant who will lead client engagements for U.S.-based clients, manage teams, and drive process improvements with automation and AI. The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive communication, and strong relationship management in a fast-paced setting.

You will oversee accounts across AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and financial statement close processes while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS preferred.
• Strong client management and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and act as primary client contact, addressing inquiries and requests promptly.
• Facilitate meetings to deepen client understanding and satisfaction.
• Monitor client feedback and address issues to enhance the client experience.
• Create detailed client project plans and timelines for deliverables.
• Assign tasks and supervise team members; conduct regular status meetings.
• Oversee AR/AP processes, bank reconciliations, and monthly closes.
