LevelUp is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a US client’s accounting team on a 6-month remote contract, based in the Philippines. The role covers accruals, month-end and year-end close, audit support, and financial statement prep, reporting to the Accounting Lead.

You’ll work largely in Excel with complex workbooks and ensure accuracy across the books. Candidates should have 4+ years of accounting experience, US GAAP knowledge, and availability for US business hours.

Competenze

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience at senior level or in external audit.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and experience supporting US-based companies.
• Hands-on experience owning accruals and supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Experience preparing audit support and financial statements with attention to detail.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and rebuild numbers from prior-year work papers.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Available to work US business hours for the contract duration.

Mansioni

• Own the monthly accruals process, reviewing POs and contracts in Coupa to determine accruals.
• Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring books are accurate and closed on time.
• Prepare interim and year-end audit support and build workbooks for financial statements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare annual stock option roll forward using Carta reports for weighted average stock prices.
• Use prior-year work papers to investigate balances and replicate them for the current year.
• Support revenue-related work where needed.
