Job summary

TOA Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a public practice client on a 100% remote basis in the Philippines. You will prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and tax planning using Xero, XPM and SuiteFiles.

Qualifications

• CPA or CA qualified accountant.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience within a public practice accounting firm (SMSF experience is ideal, though not mandatory).
• Proficiency in Xero, XPM, and SuiteFiles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Tax Preparation: Prepare detailed financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals with a high degree of accuracy.
• Business Activity Statements (BAS): Prepare and review BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Advisory & Planning: Drive proactive tax planning engagements, assist with budgeting and cash flow forecasting, and collaborate closely with partners to ensure optimal client outcomes.
• Independent Execution & Collaboration: Manage multiple tasks autonomously with exceptional time management and problem-solving skills while contributing effectively within a dynamic team environment.
