Job summary

Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant for our Finance team—central to month‑end closing and ensuring the integrity of financial data across stand‑alone entities. You will collaborate with Treasury, Operations, Technology, Accounts Payable, FP&A, and Legal to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of accounting experience, CPA or equivalent, and proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting required.
• 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably at a clearing or investment firm, bank, or trust company.
• CPA or equivalent certification is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL closing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare reconciliations for assigned accounts and communicate status updates.
• Manage centralized accounting processes across multiple entities for consistency and scalability.
• Support regulatory filings, audits, and examinations with documentation and schedules.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including AI-driven automations, to reduce manual tasks.
