Responsibilities

• Ensure timely release and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders (management and government agencies such as BIR, SEC, SSS, HDMF).
• Assist in maximizing working capital and cash.
• Ensure all accounts are updated.
• Assist in preparing reports needed by management.
• Prepare financial reports.
• Support financial management activities.
• Ensure reports comply with accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage cash investments (short/long term).
• Track due to/from related parties.
• Manage prepayments and other current assets.
• Handle deposits and deferred tax assets.
• Oversee investment properties.
• Manage property and equipment.
• Manage investments in shares of stock.
• Oversee investment in subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with government agencies (BIR income tax, EWT, VAT, WHT, others).
• Review transactions before posting from all source documents.
• Post transactions each cut-off period.
• Update permanent files for deposit documents.
• Update permanent files - ITR, FS received by SEC, GIS, AOI and by laws.
• File and safekeep year-end working papers.
