Our Clients is seeking an Accounting and Financial Reporting Specialist in Taguig with expertise in IFRS and financial reporting. The role covers monthly accounting entries, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting within a shared services setup.

You will coordinate with regional finance teams, maintain process documentation, and support audit activities while driving process improvements and ensuring accuracy across multiple entities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 2 years in accounting, financial reporting, or external auditing.
• Experience in IFRS is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, fixed assets, inventory, leases, AR/AP, and accruals.
• Knowledge of financial statement prep, balance sheet reconciliation, and management reporting.
• Familiar with IFRS, taxation, and internal control frameworks such as SOX.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review monthly accounting entries, including accruals, reclassifications, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset transactions, in accordance with established accounting policies and SLAs.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting schedules and supporting documents for corporate reporting requirements.
• Assist in preparing statutory financial statements, disclosures, and other regulatory reports in coordination with local market finance teams.
• Support tax reporting activities by preparing tax-related schedules, validating invoices, and providing required documentation for tax submissions.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial, statutory, and tax audits, ensuring timely submission of documents and explanations.
• Maintain and update accounting process documentation, including work instructions, user manuals, and process flows.
• Execute internal controls and compliance procedures, identify control deficiencies, and escalate issues for resolution.
• Monitor operational performance against SLAs and KPIs.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, system testing, and implementation activities to improve accounting operations and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with finance teams, market accountants, controllers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of accurate financial information.
• Provide support and knowledge-sharing to other team members and participate in local or global finance projects as assigned.

• Experience in financial reporting and familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is an advantage.
• -Strong understanding of general accounting principles, particularly in the areas of intercompany transactions, fixed assets, inventory, leases, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accruals.
• Knowledge of financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation, and management reporting.
• Exposure to internal and external audits, including tax and statutory audits.
• Working knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and internal control frameworks such as SOX.
• Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently with minimal supervision, and meet reporting deadlines.
