Job summary

Vertexsolutions is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in the Philippines. You will manage end-to-end accounting across multiple entities, ensure accuracy under PFRS, and own all tax compliance obligations across the portfolio.

You will oversee VAT, EWT, FWT, and annual ITR filings, handle regulatory reporting for energy projects, manage accounts payable for EPC cash flows, and support management reporting, project finance, and treasury activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with CPA license required.
• Minimum 3 years of accountancy experience, energy projects preferred.
• Experience in multi-entity books under PFRS.
• Direct experience with BIR compliance: VAT, EWT, FWT, and annual ITR filings.
• Exposure to project finance covenant reporting (DSCR, cash waterfall, lender deliverables).

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting cycle across multiple entities and coordinate with external teams.
• Responsible for financial accounting and book close under PFRS.
• Own all tax compliance obligations across portfolio entities and manage tax incentive filings.
• Manage energy regulatory reporting for operating and construction-stage entities.
• Own AP for portfolio entities, addressing EPC construction cash flow timing.
• Support management reporting and project finance administration for M&A and Development teams.
• Cash management and treasury related duties.
