SourceU is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in Australian tax and business services. The role offers remote work from the Philippines, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and work with seasoned Australian accounting professionals.

You will prepare tax returns, financial statements, BAS and IAS, while reviewing work and ensuring compliance. The role emphasizes quality, deadlines, and client service.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• CPA license in the Philippines (PRC active).
• 4–5 years Australian tax/business services.
• Understanding of Australian taxation and compliance.
• Experience with SMSF and BGL software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review Australian tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts and family groups.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and other tax compliance documents.
• Oversee client portfolios, monitor deadlines and coordinate with auditors and clients.
• Review work prepared by junior accountants and provide feedback.
• Respond to client inquiries and assist with ATO matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and deliverables.
• Mentor junior accountants and support team leadership.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy

CPA license (Philippines, PRC)

4–5 years Australian tax/business services

Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance

SMSF compliance and BGL software experience

Analytical skills and attention to detail

Multitasking across client engagements

Strong written and verbal communication
