Job summary

FMC Research Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant in Metro Manila to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support audit requirements. You will oversee GL, month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, tax compliance, and timely BIR filings.

The role requires CPA and extensive experience with GAAP, IFRS, and Philippine tax regulations. The position offers opportunities to contribute to process improvements and provide management insights within a dynamic finance

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required to practice in the Philippines.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience are required.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Philippine tax regulations is mandatory.
• Board of Accountancy Accreditation and BIR Accreditation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and month-end closing activities.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Ensure timely BIR filings and payments, including VAT, withholding tax, and income tax.
• Lead internal and external audits and prepare required documentation.
• Analyze financial data, variances, and discrepancies and provide management insights.
• Improve accounting controls and processes.
