Job summary

Keywords Studios is seeking a skilled 3D Artist to join its art team in shaping AAA title assets. The role covers art creation, study of client specifications, and first-level review of peers’ work.

You will help estimate effort, support pre-production, and ensure assets meet technical and artistic requirements. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in AAA 3D art, with proficiency in Maya/Max, ZBrush, Substance tools, and game engines such as Unreal or Unity.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in creating 3D art assets for AAA titles.
• Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop and ZBrush.
• Experience with Substance Painter/Designer and Blender is preferred.
• Good eye for detail and strong communication within a team.

Responsibilities

• Study and interpret client brief to understand work requirements.
• Assist in effort estimation for new work and pre-production tasks.
• Create high quality 3D assets per client specifications.
• Establish asset creation workflow and sample assets for reference.
• Provide guidance to artists and perform first level checks for quality.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in team meetings to raise risks.
• Communicate status clearly to Lead and PM; ensure work stays within budgeted effort.
