Job summary

Lakshya Digital in Manila is seeking a Senior Artist to create outstanding 3D characters and creatures for leading game titles. You will model, UV map and texture characters and assets, ensuring they meet client specs, quality standards, and deadlines.

You will estimate work, plan tasks with the Lead, mentor junior artists, and may serve as back-up lead on small projects, contributing to on-time delivery and high-quality art across genres and platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush and Photoshop; plus Substance Painter, Mudbox and Marvelous Designer.
• Experience creating 3D game characters with modelling and texturing under production deadlines.
• Ability to estimate, plan and supervise game art asset creation.
• Minimum 2+ years in a 3D game or game art services company as Artist or Senior Artist.

Responsibilities

• Work with Lead to scope project requirements and clarify assets.
• Ensure clear specs, timelines and no ambiguity.
• Define approach and targets before starting work; gather references.
• Model and texture assets efficiently per process and specs.
• Demonstrate ability to work on the most complex assets.
• Polish junior artist work when needed to completion.
• Help Lead by guiding artists and performing first-level reviews.
• Deliver assets with zero QC errors, within time.
• Assist in post-production processes to be game-engine ready.
• Analyze information to create efficient work breakdown and estimates.
• Maintain productivity and help others complete work on time.
• Deliver high quality work with minimal iterations.
