• Maintain attractive and compliant merchandise displays, accurate price tags, promotional materials, and organized selling areas that enhance the customer shopping experience and support sales objectives.
• Assist in receiving deliveries, stock replenishment, inventory counts, stock transfers, pull-outs, and handling defective items to ensure inventory accuracy and product availability.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, organized documentation, and support sales, inventory, and promotional activities to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards while supporting store initiatives and basic POS transactions as required.

About the role

The Selling Assistant supports the store's sales and operational objectives by providing excellent customer service, assisting in appliance sales, maintaining merchandising standards, managing inventory-related activities, and performing administrative tasks. With a basic understanding of retail selling, merchandising, inventory processes, and customer service practices, this role ensures accurate stock handling, effective product presentation, and efficient administrative support while contributing to sales growth and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Sales Performance and Customer Engagement Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and appliance product selection to drive sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customer needs are met.

• Execute Merchandising and Product Presentation Standards Maintain attractive and compliant merchandise displays, accurate price tags, promotional materials, and organized selling areas that enhance the customer shopping experience and support sales objectives.

• Support Inventory Accuracy and Stock Management Assist in receiving deliveries, stock replenishment, inventory counts, stock transfers, pull-outs, and handling defective items to ensure inventory accuracy and product availability.

• Provide Administrative and Operational Support Prepare reports, maintain records, organizedocumentation, and support sales, inventory, and promotional activities to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.

• Maintain Store Standards and Operational Compliance Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards while supporting store initiatives and basic POS transactions as required.
