Job summary

Metrobank seeks a Security Threat Analyst (SOC Manager) to lead the SOC's direction and operations, ensuring continuous 24x7 monitoring, incident response, and risk management. You will mentor the team, manage hiring and training, and coordinate with CTMD Head, CISO, and cross-functional ISD groups to improve security posture.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in cybersecurity, 8+ years in the field, and 3+ years of people management, with hands-on SIEM experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in cybersecurity, SOC, incident response or threat management.
• At least 3 years of people management, preferably leading an SOC.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages overall direction of the Security Operation Center (SOC).
• Oversees 24x7 security monitoring, incident management and initial response.
• Provides technical guidance and ensures SLA adherence and process improvements.
• Collaborates with threat hunting, incident response and vulnerability teams.
• Mentors SOC team on risk management, incident analysis and SIEM tuning.
