Job summary

Globe Telecom, Inc. is seeking a Security Platform Engineer to oversee and manage the company’s security platforms such as firewalls, SIEM, and VPN.

The role requires identifying and mitigating risks, documenting builds, and providing Level 2 support for security incidents with strict SLA adherence. The ideal candidate has a 4-year IT-related degree, training in Information Security and ITSM, and hands-on experience in telecom or IT environments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or IT-related courses.
• Training in Information Security, ITSM, Project Management, Business Process Admin, & Quality.
• Minimum of 4 years work experience in Telecom or IT.

Responsibilities

• Administration of Globe Telecom’s security platforms including firewalls, SIEM, VPN, etc.
• Closure of incidents/events within SLA; incident response and escalation.
• Security log analysis and escalation as necessary.
• L2 support for policy/information security requests provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Documentation of security policies and procedures; BCM planning and vendor management.
