Role Overview:

The Security Operations Specialist is responsible for protecting the company's critical assets, facilities, and client aircraft by ensuring effective security operations, regulatory compliance, incident management, and continuous improvement of security processes. The role oversees third-party security service providers, evaluates operational performance, conducts investigations, and collaborates with internal stakeholders and external agencies to maintain a safe and secure operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security and protection of client aircraft, company facilities, and operational areas, particularly within the hangar and ramp.


• Monitor, supervise, and evaluate the performance of third-party AVSEC personnel and contracted security service providers.


• Conduct security compliance assessments and operational audits to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.


• Gather, verify, and analyze information related to security incidents, policy violations, and other matters requiring investigation.


• Prepare incident reports, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.


• Lead operational briefings and communicate security updates, policies, and initiatives to contracted personnel and relevant stakeholders.


• Prepare official communications and documentation related to security programs and operational initiatives.


• Conduct security inspections and surveys across company facilities, including offsite locations.


• Identify opportunities to improve security processes, infrastructure, and protective measures, including barriers, screening equipment, signage, and security outposts.


• Monitor, analyze, and report security trends to support operational planning and continuous improvement.


• Ensure compliance with company security and safety policies and applicable aviation security requirements.


• Conduct performance assessments and provide operational feedback to external security service providers.


• Coordinate with airport authorities, government agencies, law enforcement, and other external stakeholders on security-related matters

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aviation Management, Operations Management, Criminology, Security Management, or any related field.


• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in airport operations, airline operations, aviation security, corporate security, compliance, investigations, process improvement, or operational risk management.


• Experience in security operations, investigations, compliance monitoring, operational audits, or incident management is an advantage.


• Knowledge of airport, airline, or ground handling security operations is preferred.
