Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Chief Security Officer to lead security operations and policy internationally, directing measures during periods of increased risk and for critical flights and routes. You will ensure consistent screening across all airports in operation, and align the security program with national aviation security standards and regulators.

The role requires formulating security strategy, establishing command structure, and evaluating program effectiveness to support senior management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminology, security management or a related field is required.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and strong moral character.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Security Manager or in a similar security leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Chief Security Officer directing/monitoring security measures during periods of increased risk and for critical flights and routes, ensuring consistent screening standards at airports.
• Directs management, review and improvement of the Security Program in line with national and international authorities and Company standards.

What’s The Role All About?

• Acts as the Chief Security Officer who directs/monitors special measures/processes during period of increased risk and/or for critical flights and routes and ensures consistent standards of screening of all passengers, baggage, cargo, mail and catering supplies in all airports where it operates
• Directs management, review and improvement of the Security Program in consonance with the Philippine National Civil Aviation Security Program, Office for Transportation Security, local and foreign civil aviation authorities/regulators and Company standards

Summary of Job Description

• Formulates an overall security strategy & security department structure for senior management approval
• Develops and promulgates security standards and practices to provide line management with direction and control
• Establishes a clear order of command & control in the security structure
• Ensures effectiveness of security program by regular evaluation, inspection, surveys, tests, exercises and security investigation
• Provides planning and guidance, and direction for all security administrations and operations; supervises respective attendant program for action for the Security Department
