Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are permitted entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas to identify and deter potential security threats or suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of all incidents, activities, and observations during your shift.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches, taking appropriate action and notifying relevant authorities when necessary.
• Operate security equipment and systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate areas whilst maintaining security protocols.
• Conduct bag and vehicle inspections as required to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaborate with other security personnel and management to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Adhere to all company security policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join the team at ALERT SECURITY AND INVESTIGATION AGENCY, INC. This is a full-time position based in 2447 Belarmino Street Brgy. Bangkal, Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises, monitoring of CCTV, assets, and personnel. Your presence and professionalism will be essential in creating a secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position is instrumental in protecting our business operations and upholding the reputation of our organization within the real estate and development sector.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid Security Guard License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in a security guard role or similar security position
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent observational and situational awareness skills in CCTV monitoring.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods

• Knowledgeable in Basic Report Writing.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Experience with security systems and CCTV monitoring (preferred)
