A security guard's job is to protect people, property, and assets by monitoring and patrolling premises, responding to alarms, and reporting suspicious activity.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling: Regularly inspect and patrol the premises to deter criminals and ensure safety
• Monitoring: Monitor surveillance cameras, access points, and traffic
• Controlling access: Control the entry and exit of people, vehicles, and equipment
• Responding to alarms: Respond to alarms and other incidents in a timely manner
• Reporting: Report any suspicious activity, irregularities, or incidents to management
• Providing assistance: Provide assistance to people in need and perform first aid when needed
• Testing security systems: Test security systems and operate metal detectors and X-ray machines when needed
• Using communication devices: Use communication devices such as two-way radios
• Valid Sosia License
