Job summary

Inchcape Digital in the Philippines seeks a Security Engineering Technical Lead to implement and maintain technical security controls. You will work with the Security Architect, SOC, and Threat teams to ensure optimal configuration and risk mitigation while aligning with Security Standards.

The role requires mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with IT Operations to minimize impact on day-to-day business. Strong hands-on security engineering and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience with deploying, administering, and optimizing security tools such as EDR/XDR, email security, SIEM/SOAR.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deploy new technical security controls.
• Manage and support day-to-day operations of security tools and platforms.
• Optimize security controls to defend against emerging and existing threats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with IT Operations.
• Ensure controls comply with security standards and support risk mitigation.
• Produce and maintain documentation and reports.
• Monitor performance metrics like availability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with SOC and Threat teams to improve security posture.
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents.
• Mentor junior security engineers.
