Job summary

ACCIONA is hiring a Security Coordinator for the Malolos-Clark Railway Project. The role designs and oversees the physical security plan, mitigating theft, vandalism and disruptions while protecting personnel and assets through integrated security systems and trained guards.

You will collaborate with HSE and community relations, supervise security staff, and maintain liaison with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure project continuity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Acciona in its construction business is looking to hire a Security Coordinator in its Malolos to Clark Railway Project at Clark, Pampanga.

Job Description

The Security Coordinator will design, implement, and oversee the comprehensive physical security plan and procedures for our project. This role is responsible for mitigating high-level risks-including theft, sabotage, social unrest, and unauthorized intrusion—to ensure the security of personnel, the protection of critical assets, and uninterrupted project continuity throughout all construction and commissioning phases. He/She will:

• Design and execute robust Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and Crisis Management protocols for scenarios such as strikes, riots, natural disasters, or terror threats.
• Oversee the deployment, KPIs, and daily operations of the sub-contracted guard force.
• Supervise the deployment of physical security systems, including perimeter intrusion detection (PIDS), long-range CCTV systems, and strict access control for workers, material and vehicles.
• Conduct internal investigations regarding breaches, thefts, or security incidents and deliver actionable corrective reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement, military branches, and emergency services.
• Work closely with the community relations team to monitor and mitigate social risks, community grievances, or local protests.
• Coordinate with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department to ensure security protocols align seamlessly with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminology, Engineering, Business Administration, or having been Officer in the AFP or PNP.
• Demonstrated experience in heading security operations in high-stakes environments.
• Expertise in electronic security systems integration and physical perimeter defense.
• Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and negotiation skills under high-pressure scenarios.
