Job summary

ACCIONA Construction Philippines is seeking a Safety Officer to implement and supervise occupational risk prevention measures across offices, maintenance areas, and real estate projects. You will lead risk assessments, update prevention plans, and ensure regulatory compliance in mobility, logistics, and construction units.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in safety, a bachelor’s degree in construction or related field, and an HSE certification (BOSH, COSH or OSH).

Responsibilities

• Investigate accidents, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure delivery of corporate risk prevention protocol across all areas.
• Adapt corporate objectives to needs of each business and integrate into plans.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop and monitor corrective actions from audits and inspections.
• Perform periodic site visits to verify safety measures and action effectiveness.

MISSION

Implement and supervise occupational risk prevention measures, adapting them to the specific needs of each business and work environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct risk assessments at work centers and workstations, identifying and documenting potential safety risks and other prevention measures, tailored to the specific needs of offices, maintenance areas, and real estate projects.
2. Update and adjust specific prevention plans for each business division, ensuring that the measures and procedures respond to the specific characteristics of the area.
3. Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in operations and strategic projects, with special attention to the mobility, logistics, and construction operating units.
4. Investigate accidents in collaboration with other team members, analyzing root causes and proposing corrective and preventive measures to avoid future incidents.
5. Ensure consistent implementation and compliance with the corporate occupational risk prevention protocol across all areas and businesses.
6. Adapt and translate corporate strategic objectives to the specific needs of each business, effectively integrating them into operational plans.
7. Collaborate with corporate areas and business leaders to develop and monitor corrective actions resulting from assessments, audits, and supervisions.
8. Conduct periodic visits to work centers to verify compliance with implemented safety measures and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
