Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Security & Compliance leader to develop and implement measures across the IS function in Mexico. You will protect ABB from evolving threats, drive regulatory alignment, and oversee audits and CSQs while guiding teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Role focuses on security governance, risk assessments, and secure, compliant solutions across applications and projects, with advanced English and relevant certifications enhancing impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT or similar degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in security & compliance roles.
• Delivers security and compliance assessments in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Conducts security and compliance assessments for applications and projects.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity areas like Information Security and Regulatory Compliance.
• Identifies risks and recommends mitigation actions; designs secure solutions.
• Performs security and compliance risk assessments, enabling control implementation.
• Certification in ITIL Foundation, CISM/ CRISC/CISA/ISO 27001 LI; CISSP/CEH/ISO 27001 LA preferred.
• Good stakeholder management and Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security and compliance measures for ABB in area of responsibility.
• Protect ABB from threats and stay vigilant against security threats.
• Lead organization’s cybersecurity and monitor existing security infrastructure for compliance.
• Provide security and compliance guidance to business stakeholders.
• Support audit readiness and control validation; respond to CSQs.
• Identify risks and recommend mitigations; help design secure solutions.
• Offer guidance to less experienced colleagues with SME support.
• Assist with peer reviews and complex security oversight tasks.
