Job summary

ABB is seeking an OT cyber security service engineer to deliver consultancy services, including risk assessments and gap analyses, and to design system architectures and cybersecurity concepts aligned with international standards.

The role involves deploying cybersecurity solutions, testing controls, and scanning for vulnerabilities, while maintaining ongoing cyber security services aboard vessels or port facilities. Location is in Mexico with no global relocation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as OT cyber security service engineer.
• Strong knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS) and ABB 800xA is preferred.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts, network security, SIEM, and related tools.
• IEC 62443 knowledge; maritime cyber security standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide risk and gap assessments for customers and consultancy services.
• Design system architectures and cybersecurity concepts to meet international standards.
• Deploy cybersecurity solutions and test controls for effectiveness.
• Scan systems for vulnerabilities and propose mitigations.
• Conduct periodic cyber security services for onboard vessels or port systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot cyber-related issues and respond to incidents.
