Vercel seeks a security-focused software engineer who wants to build agent-scale tooling for triage, validation, and automated remediation of externally reported findings. You will design systems that reason about validity, severity, and root cause at scale, going beyond traditional triage.

You should be a builder first, with strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and experience with modern web stacks. Remote work is available for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with security focus.
• Experience designing scalable security tooling and automation.
• Familiarity with modern web stacks and securing web applications.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling to triage and validate bug bounty and external findings at scale, assessing validity, severity and reproducibility.
• Develop agent-based reasoning to validate business logic and design-level findings.
• Trace findings to root causes to drive fixes rather than only triage the reports.
• Advance towards automated remediation with proper review gates.
• Rethink traditional security tooling for agent-scale deployment.
• Own and evolve the bug bounty program including policy and engagement.
• Develop customer-facing security testing capabilities for the platform.
