Job summary

SCALABLE OS CORP. is hiring a Security Engineer to provision, manage, and optimize our managed security solutions, including endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and firewalls.

The role requires staying current with technology and providing escalation and troubleshooting support to service teams and clients as needed. The position supports a long-term work-from-home arrangement with standard hours based on CST and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in computer or electrical engineering, computer science, cyber or information security, or related field.
• Experience: 3-5+ years in information technology; up to two years of related education may be counted as experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Vendor certifications preferred; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and maintain company’s managed security solutions and architecture.
• Review and optimize implemented technologies to company standards.
• Provide advanced technical support and advisory services to clients.
• Identify recurring issues and assist with remediation or escalate as needed.
• Respond to tickets and incidents within defined procedures.
• Contribute to security best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with state-of-the-art technology and tools.
• Maintain documentation and administrative tasks timely.
• Participate in on-call rotation and meetings.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
