Job summary

Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager - Security to lead loss prevention across stores and distribution centers.

You will develop and implement strategies to prevent theft, ensure team safety, and minimize losses while guiding LP staff and coordinating with local authorities. The role requires a criminology background, strong security operations knowledge, and excellent leadership and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminology or related field.
• Experience in security management, loss prevention, or risk management.
• Strong knowledge of retail and warehouse operations.
• Analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach teams on security practices and compliance.
• High attention to detail and discreet handling of sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Execute loss prevention and shrinkage control programs across stores and DCs.
• Conduct audits to identify inventory discrepancies and operational gaps.
• Analyze retail data to identify fraud and theft trends.
• Investigate internal and external theft, cash shortages, and vendor fraud.
• Develop and implement safety and security policies in compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with law enforcement to report or investigate crimes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of security systems (CCTV, alarms, sensor tags, etc.).
• Supervise and coach LP Supervisors and security personnel to improve performance and awareness.
• Monitor high-risk areas such as receiving docks, RTV, backloads, and warehouse zones.
• Promote a culture of integrity and trust, and endorse cases to HRBP when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality in all investigative matters.

Who are we looking for:
