Job summary

Synpulse Philippines Inc. is seeking a skilled Data/AI DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable data and AI platforms while supporting cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices. This role emphasizes AWS, with Azure as a plus, and close collaboration with engineering teams.

You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, use IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible, manage Kubernetes workloads, and enforce security, governance, and observability across environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data/AI platform development.
• Strong AWS expertise; Azure experience is a plus.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and containerized deployments.
• Proficiency in Terraform (primary), Ansible, and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
• Soft Skills Analytical, proactive, and adaptable, able to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable data and AI platforms.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) and manage containerized apps (Kubernetes/EKS/AKS).
• Configure and maintain cloud-hosted applications, IAM, SSO, RBAC, and security/compliance.
• Automate tasks with scripting and orchestration; monitor performance with Datadog/CloudWatch.
• Drive governance, compliance, and security policies across data, AI, and cloud environments.
• Provide guidance to teams as SME for cloud, AI, and data issues.
