Job summary

Meralco, a leading Philippine power distributor, seeks a Certified Public Accountant to join the Sector Accounting Team. The role centers on creating and enforcing policies, procedures, and controls for consistent finance issue resolution across sector areas.

You will manage residential customers’ cash advances and contributions in aid of construction, prepare internal/external reports, and monitor KPI and system metrics to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 1 year relevant experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Taxation knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Controls oriented and customer oriented.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite at Meralco Rizal Sector (Angono, Rizal) or Meralco Dasmarinas Sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document efficient policies, procedures and controls for sector accounting.
• Maintain account information and financial data for residential customers’ cash advances and contributions to construction.
• Prepare reports for internal and external reporting; monitor KPI to evaluate staff productivity and system metrics.
