Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced MQ-9 CLS Mechanic to support the USMC MQ-9 program. The role requires hands-on maintenance, leadership, and training duties as needed, while directly assisting the MQ-9 Site Manager.

Strong focus on engines, hydraulics, avionics, and structural components with exposure to technical publications. The candidate must have an active Secret clearance, relevant schooling, and MQ-9 experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government clearance required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent completed.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft mechanic maintenance experience.
• MQ-9 aircraft experience with at least 1 year on MQ-9.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical maintenance and relevant publications.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair power plant malfunctions and related components.
• Diagnose and locate malfunctions using test equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engines and components.
• Maintain and repair structural components and avionics as needed.
• Adhere to publications, procedures, and quality workmanship standards.
• Support site management and training activities as required.
