Job summary

Buckle in Chattanooga is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support store operations. You will verify invoices, coordinate shipments, process FedEx labels, and maintain shipment paperwork while delivering friendly guest service.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, a flexible schedule including weekends, and independence in a fast-paced retail environment. No prior experience is required for this part-time posting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check that transfers are processed through the register and match items shipped.
• When shipping items, fold and box them for proper presentation.
• Remove pins/plastic, tag merchandise, and prepare on the sales floor.
• Learn and use POS software, receive freight boxes and store transfers.
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork and monitor security risks.
• Create FedEx labels and sort packages by transit time; handle RTVs weekly.
• Keep supplies stocked and organized; organize fixtures and shelving.
