Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, web design/development, marketing or related field.
• 1+ year SEO experience including content creation and link-building preferred.
• Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Searchmetrics, Screaming Frog, SimilarWeb, Google tools).
• Familiarity with WordPress/Drupal; able to optimize site performance and UX.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SEO audits and collaborate with developers to implement fixes.
• Develop SEO strategies aligned with business goals and models.
• Create, analyze, and report on SEO progress and impact.
• Audit sites across technical, content, off-page and local SEO areas.
• Stay updated on SEO trends and train team members.

About this Position

As a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing the visibility, performance, and user experience of our digital presence. By leveraging SEO best practices and data-driven insights, you will help ensure our websites effectively connect with customers, support business objectives, and drive sustainable online growth. This role combines analytical thinking, content optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities and implement improvements that deliver measurable results. You will be part of a collaborative digital team that works closely with developers, content owners, and business stakeholders across functions and regions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence website performance, contribute to digital innovation initiatives, and stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving SEO landscape. Success in this position means translating insights into impactful actions, fostering knowledge sharing, and continuously improving how our websites serve both users and the business.

What you’ll do

• Helps the business by improving the performance of our websites by conducting audits, providing findings, and collaborating with developers in applying the fixes
• Develop SEO strategies suited toward business needs, websites, and business models
• Create, analyze, and communicate reports on progress and impact of SEO activities to the business
• Assess and audit websites using different tools and design plans of action for technical, content, off-page, and local SEO.
• Monitor trends in SEO and drive knowledge-sharing sessions with the team. Stay abreast in what’s new in SEO, as well as train members of the team who may be new in the field
• Editing of content (text/images/videos/links) in web content management system – including localizations, additions, updates, clean-ups etc.
• Liaise with business partners regarding planning and execution of digital web editing initiatives
• Other relevant tasks such as conducting training/knowledge sharing sessions, continuous improvement initiatives, etc.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Web Design/ Development, Marketing, or any related course
• Preferably with one (1) year of relevant work experience in an SEO role including, but not limited to, content creation and link-building
• Preferably with experience in SEO, web design/development, digital marketing, with proficiency in tools such as SEMrush, Searchmetrics, Screaming Frog, SimilarWeb, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
• Familiaritywith WordPress, Drupal, HTML5, and CSS3; ability to optimize website performance, user experience, and search visibility is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with experience managing international stakeholders and delivering reports and presentations to global audiences.
• Skills in international stakeholder management, reporting and presentation; Highly creative, organized and pays attention to detail
• Amenable to work on a mid-shift schedule (3:00 PM - 12:00 MN)
