Job summary

Nataliia Gromko is recruiting seafarers for cargo/freight vessels. Requires prior maritime experience, conversational English, and valid maritime rank/certification.

3-month rotation, travel tickets provided, official employment with formal contract, meals on deployment, and safe living conditions aboard. Duties include cargo operations, safety compliance, and routine vessel maintenance.

Qualifications

• Complete set of documents to work on cargo/freight vessels (Seaman’s Book, certificates, licenses).

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties according to the position and vessel’s standing orders.
• Ensure safe operation of the vessel during voyage and port stays.
• Participate in cargo operations (loading/unloading, lashing/securing, cargo watch).
• Comply with international regulations and company policies (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM).
• Maintain shipboard records and documentation within area of responsibility.
• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs of ship equipment and systems.
• Follow HSE requirements: occupational safety, fire safety, and pollution prevention.
• Execute instructions from the Master and senior officers promptly and accurately.
• Keep work and accommodation areas clean and in good order.
• Take part in drills and emergency response actions (fire, abandon ship, etc.)
