The National Institute for Science and Mathematics Education Development invites applications from candidates with MA/MS degrees and graduate work, or AB/BS degrees with graduate work and teaching experience. The position emphasizes curriculum development, research, and professional development in science and mathematics education.
Responsibilities include conceiving curriculum projects, conducting research, organizing professional development activities, and building collaborations with
1) MA or MS degree plus twelve (12) units of advanced graduate work completed;
with no experience required;
or
2) MA or MS degree;
with three years of experience in teaching, preferably at least 1 year of which should have been in schools outside the University;
or
3) AB or BS degree plus eighteen (18) units of graduate work completed
with five (5) years of experience in teaching, preferably at least two (2) years of which should have been in schools outside the University

Conceptualize and undertake development of curriculum projects in science or mathematics education; assist in the evaluation of curriculum projects
Undertake research projects in science or mathematics education
Plan, prepare, develop, and conduct professional development activities in science or mathematics education
Plan and participate in follow‑up activities on the different projects of the
Institute
Establish and sustain linkages with institutions and agencies on science or mathematics education programs/projects
Perform other administrative/committee tasks and related functions of the Institute
