The role focuses on guiding school accounting practices, documenting workflows, and helping define budgets.

You will review voucher workflows, classify income and expenses, and ensure system workflows reflect real-world school operations. Collaboration with project teams and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience handling or overseeing school accounting processes.
• Experience documenting accounting workflows and processes.
• Knowledge of school budgeting, billing, vouchers, payables, receivables and financial reporting.
• Ability to translate actual accounting practices into clear processes and system workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on accounting practices and workflows used in schools.
• Explain and document existing school accounting processes.
• Guide the team in defining and setting up school budgets.
• Provide input on Budget vs. Actual monitoring and reporting.
• Review and validate proposed voucher and disbursement workflows.
• Provide guidance on income and expense classification for schools.
• Review proposed accounting processes and system features.
• Identify scenarios and business rules for the system.
• Participate in walkthroughs, consultations, and project discussions.
• Recommend alignment of system workflows with actual school practices.
• Identify gaps between proposed processes and real-world operations.
