Pickup Coffee in Makati is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS. You will contribute to secure, reliable, and efficient cloud-native platforms powering customer and internal applications.

The role focuses on building serverless solutions, implementing solid engineering practices, and collaborating across architecture, design, data, QA, and platforms teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop cloud-native solutions with AWS services, focusing on security, resilience, and scalability.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build scalable and maintainable application services that support web, mobile, and platform integrations.
• Develop reusable, well-structured, and testable code following established engineering standards.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution implementation.
• Build and manage cloud-native applications and infrastructure using AWS services.
• Develop serverless and event-driven solutions using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Ensure backend systems are secure, resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient.
• Support platform reliability, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness.
• Design and implement integrations between internal platforms, third-party services, and external partners.
• Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and data access patterns across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across backend systems.
• Support event-driven and asynchronous processing.
