Job summary

Wing Assistant seeks a skilled software developer in the Philippines to build scalable web apps using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular.

You will work on backend services with Node.js, integrate databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL, design secure APIs with JWT/OAuth, and deploy on cloud platforms using Docker and CI pipelines. You will collaborate with product teams, implement tests with Jest or Cypress, and follow RESTful principles.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with backend Node.js or similar frameworks.
• Solid understanding of databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with API design, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience deploying on cloud platforms and using Docker.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Tailwind or Bootstrap, and REST principles.
• Experience with unit/integration testing (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
