Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management seeks an experienced scaffolder to join our construction team. You will read blueprints, determine scaffold layouts, and assemble structures safely on site to meet project specs.

This role requires knowledge of safety regulations, physical strength, and the ability to work at heights in varying weather. You will coordinate with site managers and fellow workers to maintain secure access and compliant scaffolds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scaffolder or similar role.
• Proven experience as a Scaffolder or similar role.
• Certification in scaffolding (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• With NC2 Certificate.
• Knowledge of different scaffolding systems and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine scaffold layout.
• Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear.
• Ensure all scaffolding complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Coordinate with site managers and other construction workers.
• Maintain and store scaffolding equipment properly.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Secure scaffolding to buildings or structures using appropriate methods.
• Install guardrails, toe boards, and other safety features.
