Job summary

OpenText is seeking a Principal Consultant for SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) to drive enterprise-wide Procure-to-Pay transformations for global clients.

You will lead design and delivery of complex SAP VIM solutions integrated with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, improving invoice processing, compliance, and efficiency. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/CS/Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years SAP consulting with at least 3 end-to-end OpenText VIM implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI-AP, Procurement, MM-LIV and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale global SAP VIM and Accounts Payable transformation programs.
• Serve as the SME for OpenText VIM and intelligent invoice automation.
• Drive solution architecture across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Partner with finance, procurement, and IT executives to shape outcomes.
• Mentor consultants and establish best practices for delivery.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Principal Consultant, SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), you will be the trusted advisor and technical authority driving enterprise-wide Procure-to-Pay transformation initiatives for global clients. You will lead the design and delivery of complex SAP VIM solutions integrated with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, helping organizations streamline invoice processing, enhance compliance, and improve operational efficiency. By combining deep functional expertise with strategic leadership, you will influence solution direction, guide executive stakeholders, mentor consulting teams, and establish best practices that accelerate successful business outcomes and digital transformation at scale.

What The Role Offers

• Lead large-scale global SAP VIM and Accounts Payable transformation programs.
• Serve as the recognized subject matter expert for OpenText VIM and intelligent invoice automation solutions.
• Drive solution architecture decisions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
• Partner directly with finance, procurement, and IT executives to shape strategic business outcomes.
• Influence consulting standards, delivery methodologies, and reusable implementation assets.
• Mentor and develop high-performing consultants while growing technical capabilities across the organization.
• Work on end-to-end implementations, migrations, and modernization initiatives for global enterprises.
• Gain exposure to emerging SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA and Fiori-based user experiences.
• Contribute to practice development and thought leadership within a growing SAP consulting organization.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 8+ years of SAP consulting experience, including at least 3 end-to-end SAP OpenText VIM implementations.
• Deep expertise in OpenText VIM, Intelligent Capture/IES/ICC, and invoice automation processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Procurement, MM-LIV, and related business processes.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven ability to lead client workshops, manage senior stakeholders, and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Experience mentoring consultants, conducting solution reviews, and ensuring delivery quality.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills in client-facing environments.
• Preferred: OpenText VIM or SAP certification, SAP Fiori experience, S/4HANA migration expertise, and basic ABAP troubleshooting knowledge.
• Open to working any shifts, predominantly US business hours, on a 5-day work onsite model.
