Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced SAP Test Engineer to lead testing activities for customer software products on Australian projects. The role focuses on planning, executing, and reporting on test cases, defects, and UAT scenarios within a managed services context.

You will collaborate with project managers, ensure quality across production platforms, and contribute to dashboards and test metrics while maintaining strong documentation and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years automation testing experience in a Managed Services environment or large government agency.
• Experience with ERP SAP modules in FICO, PS/MM & PPM.
• Strong technical documentation/interpretation skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise & solve problems proactively.
• Ability to meet deadlines & deliverables.
• Ability to think abstractly.
• Team player with strong customer focus.
• Excellent problem-solving & troubleshooting abilities.
• Good knowledge of business procedures & systems.
• Willingness to learn new technology skills to keep pace with testing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist preparation of overall system test plans & approach.
• Assist development of system test scenarios.
• Execute test cases.
• Appropriately triage defects.
• Execute defect fix testing during system testing.
• Assist in the preparation of UAT scenarios & test cases.
• Execute defect fix retesting during UAT period.
• Assist development of dashboards on test execution progress (including reporting on test metrics).
• Consulting on testing matters to business & project managers.
