Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking an SAP Integration Specialist to design, develop and support SAP integrations across ECC 6 environments, ensuring secure, scalable interfaces and reliable data exchange with enterprise systems.

Join our Managed Services team to work with webMethods, IDocs, BAPIs and RFCs, collaborating with SAP functional consultants and IT teams, while adhering to ITIL processes and customer SLAs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience supporting SAP integrations within SAP ECC 6 environments.
  • Experience with SAP integration technologies including IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and web services.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for resolving interface, data and production support issues.
  • Experience working within a Managed Services environment using ITIL processes and delivering against customer SLAs.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Exposure to production releases, change management and continuous service improvement practices.
  • Strong documentation and quality assurance practices, including technical specifications, unit testing, transport management and adherence to development standards.
  • Experience with webMethods integrated systems.
  • Basic ABAP debugging and SAP technical and network troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience within Energy, Utilities or other asset-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and support SAP integration solutions for SAP ECC.
  • Develop and support SAP integration services that enable the secure and reliable exchange of data between SAP ECC and connected enterprise applications
  • Work with business stakeholders, SAP functional consultants and technical team members to deliver integration solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Support and maintain SAP interfaces between ECC and enterprise systems, including webMethods and other connected platforms.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents, interface failures and data processing issues in line with customer SLAs.
  • Support integration services across development, test and production environments, ensuring reliability, performance and operational stability.
  • Participate in solution design, deployments, releases and change activities within an ITIL-managed services framework.
  • Maintain integration documentation, technical standards and support procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, platform stability and operational efficiency.

As part of our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team, the SAP Integration Specialist will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable and resilient SAP integration solutions across our energy and utilities client environments. The role is responsible for the design, development, enhancement and support of SAP integrations, ensuring solutions are aligned with customer requirements and delivered within NRI's ITIL-managed services framework.

You will design, develop and support enterprise integration capabilities across SAP ECC and associated business applications, enabling the seamless exchange of data between SAP and internal and external systems. You will provide technical expertise in SAP integration technologies, ensuring the ongoing performance, reliability, maintainability and optimisation of customer integration landscapes. You will also support the monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of integration services that underpin critical business and operational processes.
